Greenwich, New York in Washington County is rich in the history of the Underground Railroad. Many houses in the Greenwich community and nearby Easton provided a safe haven for slaves heading north to freedom.
Greenwich was also the childhood of Susan B. Anthony and President Chester A. Arthur. |
